International Visitors Leadership Program (1973-present)
The IVLP is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Visitors are selected by U.S Embassies around the world to come to the U.S. on a nationwide professional program.
Sister City Project (1982-present)
ICW organizes cultural, youth, and business exchange programs between Worcester and the town of Pushkin, Russia. Pushkin is a suburb of St. Petersburg. All programs are locally funded.
Open World Leadership Program (1999-present)
This program is funded directly by the U.S. Congress through the Open World Leadership Center at the Library of Congress. ICW designs 8-day professional and cultural programs, with homestays, for people from the former Soviet Union.
Services Provided
ICW will design professional and cultural programs funded by private companies, organizations, and individuals. Programs are custom designed by request according to the needs of the sponsor. Fees are negotiated on an individual basis.
Follow-on Conferences in Russia and Uzbekistan (2000, 2001, 2004)
ICW has organized four professional conferences in Russia and one in Uzbekistan as a follow-on activity of the Community Connections Program.
Community Connections Program (1999-2005)
This program is also sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. ICW designs three to four-week professional and cultural programs in Worcester, with homestays, for visitors from countries of the former Soviet Union.
